2021 Lia, Lonesome Spring Vineyard
34% Grenache, 34% Syrah, 32% Mourvedre
Upland Vineyard, Snipes Mountain
Gold - 2020 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition
This vintage of Lia is a beautiful ruby color. Notes of tobacco, light dried rose petals and tinge of leather dominate on the nose, with a bit of cardamom and dried rosemary to round out the aromas. The sip si silky on the palate with flavors of blackberry and cassis. It has a mouthwatering finish with fresh acidity and medium tannins.
